This website is one of the ways we can share news, stay in touch, and celebrate positive events happening in our community. We welcome you and appreciate the part you play in the Garden Village community, no matter how long you’ve played it.
The Garden Village Residents’ Association (GVRA) is a group of volunteers working to ensure that Garden Village is a safe and enjoyable place to live. We are here to listen and to represent your interests. We’d love to hear any suggestions, concerns, or ideas that you have. The more voices we hear, the more effective we can be. Together, we can ensure that our neighbourhood remains not only a place to live, but somewhere to call home.
Environment
GVRA is organising monthly estate clean ups from May through October, on the second weekend of each month. Meeting points are detailed below and the dates and times are as follows:
- Saturday, June 13th :: 09:30-11:30
- Sunday, June 14th :: 09:30-11:30
- Saturday, July 11th :: 09:30-11:30
- Sunday, July 12th :: 09:30-11:30
- Saturday, August 8th :: 09:30-11:30
- Sunday, August 9th :: 09:30-11:30
- Saturday, September 12th :: 09:30-11:30
- Sunday, September 13th :: 09:30-11:30
- Saturday, October 10th :: 09:30-11:30
- Sunday, October 11th :: 09:30-11:30
The meeting point for Saturday clean ups is the bottom of the green near the roundabout entrance. On Sundays, the meeting point is the corner of the Drive near the Ballyronan Road entrance.
